My plan was to post an inspirational quote about dealing with rejection. However, I find that all of the quotes about rejection are pretty stupid. I mean, finding the silver lining and whatever else, it all misses the point. People suffering from a rejection don't want to hear about how being rejected will ultimately be for the best. That never comforts anybody.
The bottom line is that rejection is terrible, and the only way of getting through it is simply that: getting through it. Surviving. There is no avoiding it, and no mitigating the pain that it causes. All we can do is live to fight another day. Or is it, fight to live another day?
