Like you, ...Thank you for sharing your memories!!! Like you, I adored both Shining Force and Phantasy Star IV! Phantasy Star IV was the last 16-bit game that I ever bought. I got it in the fall of 1996, right at the beginning of my senior year in high school. Great to look back on that now and the good times that I had back then!Fauntleroyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09309965726729405128noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6734714938469985598.post-62685693614539510532013-06-10T11:16:25.208-05:002013-06-10T11:16:25.208-05:00I too was one of the lucky ones who had both syste...I too was one of the lucky ones who had both systems, although I ended up with the SNES first. Oddly enough, it was Final Fantasy 4 which drew me to the Genesis; I played the living hell out of that game, and was looking for the next game in that style. A guy I knew in school handed me a game magazine that mentioned a game called "Shining Force" for the Genesis, which was apparently the same sort of thing, so I picked up a Genesis specifically to play Shining Force. And it was worth every penny simply for the Shining series and of course, Phantasy Star 4 (I didn't get into 2 for some reason), which is still one of the greatest RPG's I've ever played.Dark Phoenixnoreply@blogger.com
